Villa Cortile is a luxury villa renovation conceived and designed by VIIA, a luxury interior design and architecture firm based in Dubai. Located in Sharjah, this 266-square-metre residence sits within a 600-square-metre plot and is built around a single defining idea: a central courtyard that breathes life into every room it touches. For homeowners who believe a house should feel alive, Villa Cortile is proof that residential architecture can be both raw and deeply human.

Light is the true material of this home. Skylights, floor-level glass strips, and 60-centimetre ribbon windows near the ceiling flood the interior with natural light from angles that defy expectation, without sacrificing an inch of privacy. Exposed concrete and dark walnut wood trims define every surface, brutal and warm in equal measure. Transitional spaces, outdoor areas, and the courtyard at the heart of the plan dissolve the boundary between inside and outside, creating a home that breathes with the landscape around it. This is bespoke interior design in Sharjah at its most intentional.
