Designed by VIIA for KIDANA to accommodate the high demand of Hajj season in Makkah, this control room interior design was purpose-built for monitoring and crowd management during one of the world’s most extraordinary mass gatherings. The project includes a highly functional command and control space, alongside office areas, meeting rooms, and recreational zones, all tailored to ensure operational clarity, comfort, and efficiency during one of the world’s most crowded events.
The interior design and architecture takes on a sleek, modern language with subtle futuristic elements, integrating smart layouts and active screen environments throughout. Every space was developed by VIIA’s interior design team to balance performance and well-being, supporting high-pressure workflows while maintaining an efficient, focused, and human-centred environment. A project that proves institutional and governmental interior design can be as considered as it is functional.
