The Link has a space for every person in society, attracting friends and families to explore new forms of entertainment, education, and nature. Designed by VIIA, The Link was built to achieve Platinum LEED certification under new construction v4.1

The Link activates Expo City by connecting Expo City with Dubai’s centres, internally linking the Expo Dome with the valley, and aligning today’s built environment with the 2040 Dubai masterplan through spaces that are walkable, livable, and socially vibrant.

Gaming arena

The top floor of the gaming arena features the most active areas of The Link. The ground floor delivers an infinite boundaries experience with acoustic glass overlooking the karting underground area, open skies above, and interactive experiences at the social arena centre.

The karting area features a glass roof for natural daylight access, soft separation between functions, a skylight, triple height volumes, and a glass floor overlooking the track. A one-of-a-kind entertainment and architecture experience in Dubai.

VR Arena & Garden

Seamlessly blending education with technology, this zone features a beautifully curated interior garden visible from multiple points across the mixed-use development. This serene oasis inspires creativity, focus, and well-being, integrating innovation with nature. Equipped with advanced labs, creative studios, and a state-of-the-art VR centre, The Link redefines educational architecture in Dubai, empowering local students and schools with immersive learning opportunities.

Lighting maze & Automobile museum

A captivating spatial installation where architecture and interior design meet illumination. This immersive environment combines mirrored surfaces, dynamic projections, and holographic elements, creating a boundless interplay of light and reflection that blurs the line between structure and sensory experience. Alongside it, a contemporary exhibition space celebrates automotive innovation through adaptive commercial architecture, hosting year-round showcases where leading car brands present their latest models and technology.

The Link’s vibrant network of avenues creates a seamless transition between outdoor experiences and surrounding landmarks, blending indoor arenas and outdoor avenues through math-based circulations. This interconnected architectural journey in Expo City Dubai offers a dynamic narrative where each avenue provides a distinct atmosphere and purpose, guiding visitors through diverse spaces that celebrate education, technology, nature, and culture.
